Global Studies Faculty Research Grant

The Ozmen Institute for Global Studies at the Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV, in collaboration with the Office of the Provost, has allotted special funds to enhance and promote research and other creative efforts with a significant global/international dimension.  The grant program gives special consideration to proposals that produce meaningful results in contributing to the international strengths of the University. Its highest priority will be to provide exploratory funding for projects that promise significant future interdisciplinary research in global studies.

The following types of projects will be considered for funding:

  • Global/international research
  • Faculty travel to conduct research abroad
  • Campus events and outreach activities about global/international studies

Please keep in mind that the activity should have a campus-wide impact.

The following types of requests will not be funded:

  • Ongoing or normal administrative activities
  • Any costs associated with the presentation of papers at conferences
  • Support for university exchange programs
  • Hosting in general
  • Salary
