Global Studies grants and awards

Faculty Research Grant


Academic and administrative faculty may apply for up to $3,000 to support research or creative projects with a significant international focus. Priority is given to proposals that produce meaningful outcomes and strengthen the University’s global engagement.

Proposals are reviewed by a committee of the Ozmen Institute for Global Studies. Funding is provided by the Ozmen Institute for Global Studies and the Office of the Provost.

Graduate Student Research Grant


The Ozmen Institute for Global Studies, in collaboration with the Graduate School, the Graduate Student Association and the Office of the Provost, provides funding to support international research activities by graduate students across disciplines.

Priority is given to proposals that produce meaningful results and advance the research and outreach mission of the Ozmen Institute for Global Studies at the Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV.

Global Engagement Award


The Global Engagement Award is a University-wide honor recognizing full-time academic and administrative faculty for outstanding contributions to international programs, global research, and international teaching.

Funding is provided by the Ozmen Institute for Global Studies, the Office of International Students and Scholars, the University Studies Abroad Consortium and the Office of the Provost.
