Emergency Alert System

Registered students, faculty and staff receive emergency updates by text or email through the Emergency Alert system. Emergency notifications are also posted to University social media channels.

Non-emergency contact

If you need to speak with the police, but it's not an emergency, call (775) 334-2677.

Services and resources

Pack Rides requests

Pack Rides provides on-demand rides to and from University locations during evening hours throughout the academic year.

Fingerprinting

The University Police Department offers fingerprinting services by appointment at the Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV main station. This service is also offered to the public. If you're having fingerprints done to comply with the University's Policy for the Protection of Children, be sure to bring a printed, completed packet and an IPO to your appointment.

Dissemination request

The Police Department may provide court case information to parties involved. Requests must be filed online or in person to have a case approved for dissemination.

Ride-along request

The Police Department offers a ride-along program for educational purposes related to criminal justice and law enforcement practices. To request a ride-along, complete the form below and email it to unrpd@police.unr.edu.

Victim advocacy

We provide advocate services to people affected by harassment, assault, stalking, and other crimes. Our goal is to give you a voice and ensure you have the resources you need.
