The international business major provides an interdisciplinary program of study which combines international and foreign language studies with a business degree. This degree is great for students seeking to work in the international business world, as the program focuses on the principles and practices of businesses that cross national boundaries to operate in the global business environment. Each participant has the opportunity to specialize in a particular region — Asia and the Pacific, Europe or the Americas.

The international business faculty are a community of scholars in a variety of disciplines who focus on the principles and practices of business that crosses national boundaries to operate successfully in the global business environment.
The international business major provides an interdisciplinary program of study which combines international and foreign language studies with a business degree. This major prepares students to be effective in international business transactions.
Students wishing to fulfill the requirements of the Bachelor of Science in International Business need to select a business concentration (accounting, economics, finance, management or marketing), take two years of a single foreign language, and select a regional track consistent with their language studies.
In addition to completing two years of study in a single language (i.e., the successful completion of a fourth semester college course, or the equivalent), students need to choose a regional track related to their foreign language, and must take courses specifically related to it in conversation, culture, geography, history, and political science.
With a bachelor's degree in international business, students may pursue a variety of careers in economics, accounting, finance, management and marketing. As of 2017, some of the most in-demand careers in these international fields included:
