Earn your master's degree in media innovation while developing advanced skills in digital storytelling, audience engagement, strategy and emerging media technologies. This in-person, four-semester master's program admits students each fall and combines academic rigor with practical experience and skill building to advance your career in rapidly changing industries.
How we teach
Through small classes in the Reynolds School’s state-of-the-art facilities, hands-on projects and close collaboration with faculty, you'll learn how to connect with audiences, adapt to new media forms and technologies and create meaningful content.
The curriculum emphasizes real-world experience, preparing graduates for careers across journalism, media, communications and beyond.
Application deadlines
- February 1: Early applicants will be screened. Those recommended for acceptance will be given priority in the awarding of graduate assistantships.
- March 15: Applications due for acceptance in the program and consideration for any remaining graduate assistantships.
- After March 15: Applications will continue to be accepted for the fall until the program is full.
